Service Description
ONE DAY PASS. THREE CLOUD FOREST TRAILS. Explore the easy, intermediate and advanced routes at your own pace. Walk one, two or all three, depending on fitness, time and conditions. No trail selection is needed when booking. Self-guided admission includes cloud forest trails, rivers, waterfalls and mountain and city views. The Lagoon of Colors is excluded. OPTIONAL EXTRAS — FINAL USD PRICES, TAX INCLUDED Admission: adult $15; child age 4–12 $7. Shared round-trip transport: adult $50; child $24. Minimum 2 guests per booking. Breakfast: adult $17; child $13. Typical Costa Rican breakfast, fruit and coffee. Lunch: adult $26; child $20. Protein choice, rice, salad, fresh drink and dessert. Select breakfast and lunch separately: either, both or neither. Vegetarian/vegan meals available; enter dietary needs and contact us about allergies. Private bilingual naturalist guide: $150 per group of up to 15 guests, counting adults and children. Larger groups need one guide per 15 guests, rounded up. All extras cost extra. BEFORE YOU BOOK Outside food is prohibited. The advanced trail is not suitable for children. Ages 4–12 may use easy and intermediate trails. Minimum age: 4. Paths may contain mud, rocks, roots and branches. Not suitable for visitors with mobility limitations or heart problems. Bring walking shoes, a sweater, change of clothes and sunscreen. Vehicle access does not require a 4x4. VISITING HOURS & TRANSPORT Wednesday–Sunday; book at least 48 hours ahead. Own transport: enter 7 am–noon; leave by 3 pm. All times are Costa Rica local time. Shared transport: pickup 7:30 am, San José to Marriott Belén coverage; return departs El Iral by 2 pm. Enter hotel and address when booking. Outside coverage: contact us BEFORE paying to arrange availability and any surcharge. Your park entry time is separate from pickup. A private guide does not make transport private. PAYMENT & CANCELLATION Full online payment confirms your reservation and purchased extras automatically. Cancel more than 24 hours before your visit: total refund minus a $7 administrative fee per reservation. Cancel 24 hours or less before, no-show or late arrival: no refund. Full payment is required at checkout. Your reservation and selected extras are confirmed once payment is completed. Prices are final in USD and include taxes. Book at least 48 hours ahead. Cancel more than 24 hours before your visit to receive a refund of the total paid minus a $7 administrative fee per reservation. Cancellations 24 hours or less before the visit, no-shows and late arrivals are non-refundable. If El Iral cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you receive a 100% refund with no administrative deduction. Contact WhatsApp +506 8766 1622 for cancellation requests. Natural trails may include mud, rocks, roots and branches; unsuitable for visitors with mobility or heart problems. Shared transport is optional and requires at least 2 guests. One private guide is required per 15 guests when that optional service is selected. The Lagoon of Colors is excluded.
